My guess, and I have to admit it is just a guess, very few people knew the real Nikola Tesla. He most certainly was a different kind of person. We all can trace his genius of discoveries, patents, inventions, etc. but the real person being entirely a mystery.
What makes the individuals, like Tesla and many others in past history, so different? Why can’t we all be Tesla’s, what really separates us? Could it be intelligence, or maybe something else added too. While Tesla was young in college he was working on the idea of the polyphase motor, his science professor told him it was totally impossible and quit trying to do the impossible – but he did it! Does this make him smarter than his professor? NO!
There is another factor involved, it is called ‘wisdom’, intelligence can be obtained (to a degree) with education, but wisdom cannot. Wisdom requires experience to
back up education. The difference between the young Tesla and his professor was experience, Tesla had been working on this idea for a long period of time, he literally pre-built the polyphase motor in his mind (a gift he used his whole life), he had wisdom, the professor did not. The same scenario happened between him and Edison.

How did Tesla obtain this capability to design and ‘build’ a complete complex polyphase motor in his mind at such a young age? This could become a long questionable explanation, so to make it short, he either was blessed with it at birth or
obtained it with his ‘near death experience’.
obtained it with his ‘near death experience’.
Nikola Tesla was one of a kind, no one will ever be another Tesla, we all are developments of our environment; to be another Tesla one would need to duplicate his environmental experiences and that is impossible (really totally impossible).
Depending upon one’s belief, this could include previous human life periods experiences also. I make that statement because of a quote from Tesla (not word for word):
‘The day scientists includes the nonphysical to their science, they will make more
